The River Café
We are so excited to host you at The River Café. Known for its classic American cuisine and stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, this renowned Michelin-starred restaurant is located under the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, New York.
Designed and built in 1977 by visionary restaurateur, the restaurant features the best possible views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline. The River Café is routinely ranked as one of the most romantic, most beautiful and best restaurants in America.
It’s also in The Sopranos, so Sam likes that.
What should you wear?
Have something fancy in your closet you've been dying to wear?

Dress code: black tie optional, with pizazz
WOMEN: floor-length, midi dresses and suits. Think timeless elegance with a fashion-forward, playful edge. Old New York meets Sex and the City.
MEN: Suits or tuxes. The venue requires jackets and shirts with collars—ties are preferred. Think classic New York elegance with personality (loafers, silk, bow ties)

The entire wedding is located at one place — The River Café.
We will start with the wedding ceremony in the garden. Immediately following, the reception will take place in the same location, so no need to travel between the ceremony and dinner.
Schedule of the day (all one location):
5 PM - Guests arrive and are seated in The River Café garden
5:30 PM - Ceremony Begins
6-7 PM - Cocktail hour on the terrace
7:20 PM - First course is served in the dining room
7:45 PM - Speeches
8:30 PM - Midnight - Dancing and cigars
After Midnight - After Party
*Sam and Stephanie will not be leave after the wedding so they can spend as much time with everyone as possible!

There will be no shuttles to the wedding, but there is easy access to Uber, Lyft, ferries and trains. The River Café is walking distance from the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.

Unfortunately, The River Café cannot accommodate parking for wedding guests. If you are driving, there are garages and street parking around the venue.

We love your little ones - however, we have opted for an adult-only celebration.

If you have a plus one, their name will be on the invitation. The River Café is a small, intimate wedding venue, so we kindly ask that you only RSVP for those listed on your invitation.
